San Luis Obispo Blues strike early in win over Walnut Creek Crawdads

The San Luis Obispo Blues scored all of their runs in the first three innings and held on to defeat the Walnut Creek Crawdads, 5-3, at home in a summer collegiate baseball game at SLO Stadium.

Jacob Hoyle was 2 for 2 with a triple, two RBI and a run for the Blues (8-2), and Connor O’Hare doubled and scored twice.

Andrew Cheray got the win, pitching four innings with three strikeouts, three hits, one walk and one run. Sheldon Neuse got the save by pitching a scoreless ninth.

Chase Davis and Jake Trybulski both drove in a run for San Luis Obispo.
