Ex-Mustangs dominate San Diego marathon

Former Cal Poly track and field standout Bruce wins race, and fellow ex-Mustang Mora is second

Former Cal Poly track and field standout Ben Bruce was the overall winner of the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon on Sunday with a time of 2 hours, 23 minutes, 50 seconds.

“It’s great to win in my hometown,” Bruce said, according to NBC San Diego.

Another ex-Mustang, Jameson Mora, was second in 2:27:03.
