With the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday, Dallas Bacon hit a single to drive in the winning run and give the San Luis Obispo Blues a 5-4 win over the San Francisco Seals in the summer collegiate baseball opener for both teams.

Evan Peterson had a no-hitter through five innings for the Blues and was lifted then. After he left, the Seals scored three times in the seventh and once in the ninth to tie the score at 4. Connor O’Hare was the only player to have multiple hits for the Blues, going 2 for 4.
