Letter to the Editor

A new supervisor

San Luis ObispoMay 21, 2014

The lifeblood of our democratic republic is the election of representatives who are truly responsive and responsible to the people they represent. Rather than relying on a political appointee to take SLO County into the future, please take this opportunity to vote for Lynn Compton as your new supervisor.

Lynn is a 20-year resident of Nipomo, a small-business owner and rancher in SLO County, where she and her husband are raising their twin daughters. Along with family responsibilities and her involvement in many civic and nonprofit activities, Lynn also found time to achieve her law degree. Her commitment to family, community and business speaks volumes about Lynn Compton’s ability to work comfortably with a wide variety of individuals and agencies — a trait which will serve her well as county supervisor.

Please join me in supporting Lynn Compton on June 3.
