The San Luis Obispo Blues summer collegiate baseball team will open its season at 6 p.m. Saturday against the visiting San Francisco Seals, according to a news release.

The first 100 fans to attend the game at SLO Stadium will receive a mini helmet, according to the release.

Local teams win Cuesta hoops league titles

Several local teams won titles in the 28th Cuesta College Basketball League (CCElite), according to a news release.

According to the release, the league champions were: Grizzlies White 5b, Arroyo Grande Eagles 6b, 3Ball Blue 7b, Atascadero Bloodhounds 8b, Atascadero Hounds JVb, USA vb, Grizzlies Pink 5g, Santa Ynez Wildcats 6/7g, Grizzlies Gold 8/JVg and MP vg.
