Cambria talk set for those new to Medicare

A free informational seminar on Medicare starts at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at the Cambria Connection, 870 Main St.

The “New to Medicare” seminar is presented by a partnership between the Connection and the Health Insurance and Advocacy Program (HICAP). 

The program is designed to educate and help consumers who are becoming eligible for Medicare or who recently enrolled in the Medicare program. Caregivers also are welcome to attend, as is anybody who is currently a Medicare beneficiary is also welcome to attend. 

Topics include what Medicare covers, supplemental insurance, Part D prescription coverage, retiree health-plan considerations and Medicare and employer group-health plans.
