Free roses for Mom at SLO Farmers Market on Thursday

The San Luis Obispo Downtown Association will host its annual Mother’s Day flower giveaway Thursday at Farmers Market, starting at 6 p.m.

Wells Fargo, the Downtown Association and youth from the Cal Poly Bakari mentoring program will hand out more than 1,000 roses to mothers on the corner of Chorro and Higuera streets. For details, call 541-0286.
