A new festival aimed at music lovers ages 21 and over is coming to Avila Beach this fall.

The inaugural Forever Never Land, which will be held Sept. 13 and 14 at the Avila Beach Golf Resort, will combine concerts and activities such as ziplining and laser tag.

“We’ve taken the best parts of our most memorable and fun life experiences, and combined them to create one monster weekend event where adults can be kids again,” festival founder and CEO Valerie Wang said in a news release.

According to the news release, Forever Never Land features four interactive “lands,” including neon-lit Future Land and foodie-focused International World.

At Pirate’s Cove, festival-goers can play beach volleyball or slip down a 200-foot water slide. Castle Land, meanwhile, will feature bounce castles, rock climbing and a human-sized chess board.

The musical lineup includes reggae-punk band Sublime with Rome, electronica artist RJD2 and alternative rock bands Everclear and Vertical Horizon.

Admission is $75 to $225 for one-day passes or $125 to $400 for two-day passes. Parking costs $35 to $50, while shuttle passes are $30.
