Mission Prep graduate and Emory University senior softball player Ally Kersthold was named to the all-University Athletic Association second team, the school announced Thursday.

Kersthold, an outfielder, was one of just two players to start all 43 regular season games for the Eagles. She hit .343 and her 20 doubles tied for the conference lead and were one off the school record. The San Luis Obispo native was a first-team selection last year, and garnered UAA Player of the Week honors in February after hitting .667 with eight RBI in two games.

The Eagles (36-7) are ranked 16th in the Division III coaches poll, and their NCAA Tournament first-round matchup will be determined Monday.
