Fire erupts at home in Paso Robles

A fire broke out Monday morning at a home in the 400 block of Rose Lane in Paso Robles.

Paso Robles firefighters arrived on the scene at 11:40 a.m. to find an exterior fire extending into the garage, according to a news release from the city of Paso Robles.

Firefighters extinguished the flames before they reached the house, the news release said.

All occupants safely exited the building at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

Fire investigators with the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services are currently looking into what caused the fire and how much damage it caused.

A total of 12 firefighters from the Atascadero Fire Department, Cal Fire and Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services responded to the blaze. The Paso Robles Police Department assisted with street closures.
