GROVER BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Grover Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two men caught on home surveillance video stealing delivered packages from the doorstep of a Grover Beach residence on Monday afternoon.

According to a news release, the Police Department received a report of a grand theft from a residence on the 900 block of Rockaway Avenue on Tuesday. Video footage from the home shows two men pulling up to the home in a dark, early 2000s-model Honda Civic. The passenger exits the vehicle, walks to the front porch, grabs two boxes and brings them back to the car. He then gets into the car, and it drives away.

At least two vehicles and one pedestrian pass by the scene as the crime is taking place, unaware.

The department is asking any witnesses who may have been in the area at 3 p.m. Monday or people who can identify the suspects to call the department at 473-4511, or to leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP (7867) or online at slotips.org.
