Forum planned in Oceano for 4th District supervisor candidates

The Latino Outreach Council hosted a San Luis Obispo County 4th District supervisor candidates forum with Mike Byrd, Lynn Compton and Caren Ray on Wednesday, April 16.

The Oceano Advisory Council will host a forum May 7 for the three candidates running for the San Luis Obispo County 4th District Supervisor seat.

The forum will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the board room of the Oceano Community Services District, 1655 Front St. The League of Women Voters of San Luis Obispo County will moderate.

The three candidates include appointed incumbent Caren Ray, Arroyo Grande real estate broker Mike Byrd, and Nipomo businesswoman Lynn Compton.

The district falls within the southernmost part of the county and includes the communities of Arroyo Grande, Nipomo and Oceano. For information about the forum, call Linda Austin at 489-5446.
