Two Grover Beach residents were arrested Thursday following a probation search of their home.

Wendy Regina Stanhope, 34, and Ben Joseph Delashmutt, 36, were booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property, possession of controlled substances, and possession of hypodermic needles, according to a news release from the San Luis Obispo Police Department.

Bail was set at $20,000, police said. Online jail records showed only Stanhope still in custody on Friday morning.

According to police, San Luis Obispo detectives assisted San Luis Obispo County probation officers in a search of a home in the 1700 block of Newport Avenue on Thursday.

During the search, police recovered items that were reported stolen after a burglary of a dental office located in the 1200 block of Peach Street in San Luis Obispo on April 14.

Police said that Stanhope had once been employed at the dental office but was fired in 2012 for unknown reasons. The recovered property included numerous items of high-quality dental equipment, and accessories, electronics, pharmaceutical medications, and hypodermic needles and syringes.
