Bailey Gaither stole seven bases and scored five runs, Matt Keller hit a home run and drove in four, and the Paso Robles High baseball team took over sole possession of first place in the PAC 7 with a 16-6 win at Righetti on Wednesday.
The Bearcats (12-2-2, 8-2-1 PAC 7) scored four runs in both the third and fifth innings to take an 11-2 lead.
The Warriors, who topped Paso Robles 4-2 on Tuesday, answered with three in the bottom of the fifth, but the Bearcats pounced for five more runs in the seventh.
Gaither finished 4 for 5 at the plate, and Keller was 2 for 3 with a walk and two runs scored. Christian Erickson was 2 for 4 with a triple, two RBI and a run. Jonathan Baldwin recorded a pair of hits, and Taylor Holden doubled and drove in two.
Paso Robles hosts Righetti on Friday at 4:30 p.m. in the final game of the series.
Atascadero 6, Channel Islands 5, 8 innings
Holden Nix hit a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning that scored Dylan White for the Greyhounds’ winning run at their home Easter Classic Tournament.
Nix drove in three runs total for Atascadero (3-15) and hit a double.
White came onto the mound in the sixth inning and struck out four, limiting the Raiders to one hit and zero runs.
Joe Johnson was 4 for 5 with two runs scored and two doubles for the Greyhounds.
Templeton 9, San Leandro 8
Jake Walsh scored three times and hit a double as the Eagles jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the Easter Classic Tournament.
Austin Alarcon pitched five scoreless innings for Templeton (9-7) before giving up three runs in the sixth inning.

Garrett Ball was 2 for 4 and scored once for the Eagles in their loss.
Joey DeLaRosa drove in two runs for Arroyo Grande (8-9, 4-4 PAC 7).

Samantha Oliver and Kacie Burger both went 3 for 4 for the Eagles (7-9, 3-4 PAC 7), who led 5-2 after two innings and never trailed.

Matthew Mihelic won the boys 100 in 11.00 seconds and the 200 in 23.00, and was on the winning 4x400 relay for the Bearcats (4-1-1 PAC 7).
Marcos Condit won the triple jump in 43 feet, 1 inch and the long jump in 20-2.
Sammie Anderson swept the sprints in the girls meet, winning the 100 in 12.68 and the 200 in 26.31 for Paso Robles (5-1).
Michaela Howard won the 100 hurdles in 16.02 and the 300 hurdles in 48.18, while Ashley Davis won the 800 in 2:37 and the 1,600 in 5:42.
Boys: Morro Bay 88, Mission Prep 30; Girls: Morro Bay 81, Mission Prep 42
Austin Lay won the boys high jump in 5-4 and the 3,200 in 11:00 for the Pirates. Teammate Ruben Zamora won the 300 hurdles in 48.64.
Kyle Van Housen broke his own school record for Mission Prep, winning the boys pole vault in 13-6 — one foot better than his previous record.
Jacqueline San Jule won the girls 100 (13.7) and the 200 (27.6) for Mission Prep.
Sierra Emrick won the girls high jump (4-10) and the pole vault (10-6) for Morro Bay.

Greg Potruch shot a 6-over 78 at Santa Maria Country Club to lead the Bearcats, who posted their lowest team score of the season.
Cole Cargill shot an 82 for Paso Robles, followed by Cody Autry (84), Bailey Flickinger (85) and Ben Elisarraraz (87).
