Emergency drill set for Wednesday in Port San Luis

Don’t worry, it’s only a test of the emergency response system.

On Wednesday morning and into the afternoon, various emergency agencies will be training in the Port San Luis area, according to the County Office of Emergency Services. The public may see emergency vehicles involved in the drill.

The training is related to ongoing preparedness with Diable Canyon nuclear power plant and will be in collaboration with Pacific Gas & Electric Company, which owns the plant, the county said.
