2 alleged Pismo robbers arrested

Pismo Beach police are investigating a robbery after the arrest of two of the four suspects who allegedly robbed two out-of-towners in front of the Sea Venture Resort on Thursday.

According to a police department news release, at about 4 p.m., two people were attacked and robbed in the 100 block of Ocean View Avenue. The four suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and property. Police are not elaborating on what was stolen or whether the victims were injured. The victims were able to identify some of the suspects, who fled the scene in a white Chevrolet Suburban.

Later in the day, the vehicle was located and stopped by the CHP near Buellton. Its occupants, Ikbal Khoury, 42, and Santiago Martinez, 43, both of New York, were arrested and booked on felony robbery and conspiracy charges. Both remain in County Jail on $500,000 bail.
