Deadline extended for Cambria Library Peeps Diorama contest

April 11, 2014

The entry deadline for the second annual Cambria Library Peeps Diorama contest has been extended to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 26. There must be at least two peeps in the diorama; it must be made of a boot or shoebox; and the scene must be based on book. Entries should have the name, age and phone number of the entrant and the title of the book written on the bottom of the box and be brought to the library at 1043 Main St. Judging will be in three divisions: child (2-12 years old); teen (13-18); and adult (19 and older). Library visitors will vote for their favorites from April 29 through May 3. For details, call 927-4336. At left, a peeps diorama entered in this year’s contest is entitled “Les Miserapeeps.” Names of creators won’t be revealed until after votes are in.
