A Paso Robles man was arrested on suspicion of drug charges and child endangerment after police served a search warrant at a home on Oak Street on Wednesday evening.

Jose Luis Echevarria, 35, was booked into County Jail shortly after midnight Thursday on suspicion of felony marijuana for sale, felony possession of a controlled substance for sale and felony child endangerment.

The Paso Robles Special Enforcement Team served a narcotics-related search warrant at the Paso Robles home in the 500 block of Oak Street about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the Paso Robles Police Department. Officers allegedly seized 8.2 grams of methamphetamine, 235 grams of marijuana, scales, possible narcotics packaging, two rifles and $1,700 in cash.
