What kind of jobs?

Los OsosApril 10, 2014

Supporters of McDonald’s in Los Osos claim it will provide 35 jobs.

The obvious response is “What kind of jobs?” Mc-Donald’s has a history of legal actions taken by employees charging not only violation of labor laws, such as pay for overtime work, but also bookkeeping tricks to reduce the already low minimum wages paid.

Google “McDonald’s labor issues,” and you will discover the depth and breadth of the employee charges. McDonald’s is not a good neighbor.

McDonald’s will not be an asset to Los Osos until it commits to fair labor practices and honest dealings with its staff.
