Community members interested in volunteering at the California Mid-State Fair can attend a job fair next week.

The first-ever Friends of the Fair Job Fair will showcase volunteer opportunities at the fair, which runs July 16 through 27 in Paso Robles. They range from children’s events to agricultural exhibits.

The two-hour event, sponsored by the Friends of the Fair community group, will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Frontier Pavilion at the Paso Robles Event Center, 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles.
