Rosters announced for Kiwanis boys all-star game

Atascadero's entire starting five chosen for Kiwanis Central Coast All-Star Basketball Spectacular

The boys rosters for the Kiwanis Central Coast All-Star Basketball Spectacular were announced Friday, with the entire Atascadero High starting lineup headlining the North squad.

The game, comprised of standout seniors from San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties, will be held April 5 at Allan Hancock College.

Atascadero’s Joe Johnson, Connor Kim, Robbie Berwick, Jared Stuedemann and Kevin Woodard are all North All-Stars, along with Jaylon Davis and Anthony Spencer of Paso Robles, Will Mehring and Matt Jardini of Templeton, Arroyo Grande’s Carson Wack and Mission Prep’s Ben Covington.

The team will be coached by Atascadero’s Matt Knudson.

The South team has 16 players on its roster, including five from Santa Ynez, St. Joseph’s Keith Datu and Cabrillo’s Chad Broadhead.

The team will be coached by Rod Caughell of Santa Ynez.
