Police issue description of Bank of America robbery suspect in Pismo Beach

UPDATE SATURDAY: The Pismo Beach Police Department issued a description of the suspect in a robbery at Bank of America on Friday. The suspect is described as a light-skinned male adult, mid to late 50s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing dark jeans and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.

He was seen driving from the area in an older, possibly blue, two-door car.

ORIGINAL STORY: A man who robbed a Bank of America in Pismo Beach on Friday got away with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The Pismo Beach Police Department received a call at about 6 p.m. of the robbery at the bank on the corner of Price and Dolliver streets, Sgt. David Cooley said.

Investigators were still at the scene at 9 p.m. No other information was immediately available.
