The San Luis Obispo Blues summer collegiate baseball team released its roster for the season Thursday, including three players with strong local ties.

One of the pitchers is last year’s Tribune County Player of the Year, Arroyo Grande High graduate and current College of Southern Nevada left-hander Kyle Brown.

R.J. Hassey, the starting catcher for Cuesta College and a former San Luis Obispo High standout, also is on the team.

Outfielder Connor O’Hare, another native of San Luis Obispo and current player for Santa Barbara City College, also is on the roster.

Octavio Rodriguez is tentatively slated to lead the Blues’ rotation. The Oklahoma pitcher was a 33rd-round choice of the Chicago White Sox in the 2013 draft.
