Wine and viticulture trade show set for next week

Wine industry professionals will gather in Paso Robles for the second annual Central Coast Wine and Viticulture Symposium & Tradeshow (WiVi) on March 19 and 20.

The largest regional wine symposium on the Central Coast, WiVi will showcase the latest wine industry technology, viticulture techniques, winemaking practices, winery sales information and education panels, according to a news release. Local winemakers and winery owners will review the state of Central Coast winemaking.

More than 130 vendors from around the world are expected to attend.

The event will be held at the Paso Robles Event Center at 2198 Riverside Ave. Tickets range between $25 for one-day access to the trade show floor (excluding the sessions) to $325 for a VIP pass to both days, as well as a special varietal tasting March 18.
