San Luis Obispo police arrested a 25-year-old transient Sunday for allegedly robbing a man in downtown San Luis Obispo.

Police say 42-year-old George Durst was attempting to give money to a transient male shortly after 12:30 p.m. near the county bus stop on Osos Street between Palm and Monterey streets, when Ryan Kenlon of San Luis Obispo robbed him.

Police did not say how much or what Kenlon stole.

Kenlon was apprehended in downtown San Luis Obispo within an hour and was booked at County Jail on a charge of robbery. Bail was set at $60,000.

No weapon was used in the robbery.
