Meeting on Morro Bay sign ordinance set for Monday

nwilson@thetribunenews.comMarch 6, 2014

Morro Bay residents and business owners interested in learning more about a proposed sign ordinance and its impacts are invited to attend a workshop on Monday.

The workshop, coordinated by the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce, will take place from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the city Community Center, 1001 Kennedy Way.

The workshop will allow the public to meet with city staff and discuss the proposed sign ordinance and potential impacts in the downtown area.

The city Planning Commission is seeking public input before an ordinance is ratified. A future workshop will address the embarcadero and North Morro Bay. No meeting date yet has been set for the discussion about those areas.
