San Miguel Library is teaming up with In-N-Out Burger to encourage children to read.

Through April 10, children ages 4 to 12 may sign up to participate in the “Cover to Cover Club.” The young readers keep a log of the books they read, and for every five books, they receive a certificate for a free burger. They can earn up to three certificates.

Parents may read to the very young ones. The San Miguel Library is at the top of the hill on 13th Street by the park.

Along with books, there are CDs and magazines to borrow. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and noon to 6 p.m. Thursday.
