Adam West thrills fans at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival opening night

"Batman" star Adam West, 85, greeted fans Wednesday at the Fremont Theatre in San Luis Obispo as part of the opening night festivities of the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival on Wednesday.

Accompanied by film festival artistic director Wendy Eidson, West attended the screening of the documentary “Starring Adam West,” which chronicles his career as an actor and pop culture icon.

Afterward, he was scheduled to participate in a question-and-answer session and receive the festival’s third annual Spotlight Award, which honors entertainment industry insiders. The award was being presented by Los Angeles radio host and self-described Batman super-fan Ralph Garman.
