Templeton advisory group to hold election

The Templeton Area Advisory Group, which solicits input from the community on current and future planning matters in the Templeton area, will hold its election meeting on Thursday.

Seven candidates are running for four open seats. The candidates are Alison Carscaden, Jeff Debrish, David LaRue, Sarah Maggelet, Sarah Marquart, Rebecca Pfeifer and Keith Rau, according to a news release from the advisory group.

The group has nine volunteer members, including seven delegates and two alternates.

The meeting will start at 5 p.m. at the Templeton Community Services District office, 206 Fifth St.

Registered voters in the community, defined by the boundaries of the Templeton Unified School District, are eligible to vote in this election. Residents may vote anytime with the three-hour open poll period from 5 to 8 p.m. No absentee ballots are allowed.

The ballots will be tallied and the results announced following the close of the election.
