Hold public hearing to reconsider previous approval of permit for Grover Beach Lodge and Conference Center; amendments to city rules regarding residency restrictions for anyone required to register as a sex offender; presentation on roles and responsibilities of City Council members during an emergency or natural disaster.

Arroyo Grande Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 473-5420. Consider proposed regulations for vacation rentals within the city, including requirements for a conditional use permit and business license.

Lucia Mar Unified School District. Meets Tuesday. 474-3000. Report on proposed preschool at Fairgrove Elementary to be operated by YMCA; discussion and possible action on New Tech High expansion to accommodate ninth through 11th grades.

Paso Robles City Council. Meets Tuesday. 237-3888. Hearing to consider whether the city should extend to Feb. 5, 2016 an interim ordinance banning the issuance of permits for new wells to increase groundwater extraction.

Pismo Beach City Council. Meets Tuesday. 773-4567. Consider amendments to city’s general plan to allow low-density residential development in two areas between Shell Beach Road and Highway 101 at the northern end of Pismo Beach (city’s Planning Commission has recommended approval, city staff does not recommend changes except for landscaping opportunities); appropriate $50,320 from the Pismo Beach Lodging Business Improvement District (LBID) fund to support next May’s Amgen Tour of California cycling race.

San Luis Obispo Board of Supervisors. Meets Tuesday. 781-5450. Consideration of amending elements of the county’s general plan to implement water resource policies and strategies.

San Luis Coastal School Board. Meets Tuesday. 549-1202. Overview and approval of the district’s comprehensive safety plans; selection of a financial advisory firm.

San Luis Obispo City Council. Meets Tuesday. Consider approval of the final design and lease negotiations for the Garden Street Terraces project; request for amendments to the Orcutt Area Specific Plan to rezone open space to single-family residential.

Cuesta College Board of Trustees. Meets Wednesday. 546-3118. Update on facility needs for a possible bond.
