Paso Robles Public Schools will hold its annual kindergarten registration drive from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the district office, 800 Niblick Road.

To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old by Sept. 1.

When registering a child, parents must bring proof of the child’s age and legal name, such as a county birth certificate, baptismal certificate or passport. Proof of immunizations is required as is a parent identification and a utility bill to verify family address.

Paso Robles Public Schools also will offer transitional kindergarten classes at Winifred Pifer, Georgia Brown and Pat Butler elementary schools. Transitional kindergarten is for children whose fifth birthday falls between Sept. 2 and Dec. 2.

Parents interested in the dual-immersion program should call Georgia Brown Elementary at 769-1200. Parents interested in allday kindergarten at the visual and performing arts program should call Bauer-Speck Elementary at 769-1350.

For questions, call the district office at 769-1000.
