Lack of protection

San MiguelMarch 2, 2014

I am 66 years old and have fished Morro Bay all my life. It makes me so mad at how many times the Coast Guard has ordered me to reel my fishing line up so they can look at my hook while they are wearing bulletproof vests and carrying automatic rifles.

The foreign drug panga boats just drive right in front of Morro Bay with impunity from the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard needs to do its job better and protect us from foreign criminals instead of harassing local sport salmon fishermen.

I am disgusted with the lack of protection from the U.S. Coast Guard.
