A woman with a leg injury was rescued from the water at the isolated Pirate's Cove Beach near Avila Beach on Thursday evening, a CalFire dispatcher said.

CalFire received a call about 5:49 p.m. about the woman, who was alone in the water, the dispatcher said. Rescuers used ropes to bring her from the beach up a 25-foot cliff. The rescue was completed at about 7:21 p.m. and the woman declined to be taken to a hospital, the dispatcher said.
