Man arrested, quarter-pound of meth seized in Paso Robles

Paso Robles police seized a quarter-pound of methamphetamine, scales and cash during the execution of a search warrant Friday afternoon.

According to a Paso Robles Police Department news release, officers searched a home in the 2000 block of Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles and found methamphetamine, worth an estimated $6,700, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash and other evidence of drug sales.

Police arrested Leonel Zavala Sanchez, 50, of Paso Robles on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sales, transportation of a controlled substance, and committing a felony while out on bail.

According to San Luis Obispo County Jail logs, Sanchez was no longer in custody as of Monday afternoon.
