Paso Robles home damaged in fire overnight

An early-morning fire damaged a home in the 800 block of Red Cloud in Paso Robles on Tuesday, Feb. 18.


No one was injured in an early-morning fire Tuesday at a home in Paso Robles.

Firefighters were called to the home at 842 Red Cloud at 12:32 a.m., according to a new release from the City of Paso Robles. When they arrived, they found the single-family residence completely engulfed in flames. The fire was also spreading to the house at 844 Red Cloud.

Firefighters worked on preventing the spread of the fire and it was contained at 1:29 a.m.

The occupants of the home evacuated when they noticed the fire, and no one was injured. The American Red Cross is providing housing assistance.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
