Chili’s diners can donate for Atascadero park

Chili’s restaurant in Paso Robles will donate proceeds from three business days to a local parent group, Parents For Joy, to help build a special needs playground in Atascadero.

Parents For Joy is looking to raise money to build the park that would feature larger, sturdier and wheelchair-adaptable swings, sensory-processing stations, a Braille alphabet station and perimeter fencing.

As part of its Dine to Donate program, the Paso Robles Chili’s, at 2001 Theatre Drive, will donate 15 percent of the sales from Monday, Feb. 25 and March 12 to the group.

Participants should bring in the event flyer (available on the Parents For Joy Facebook page) on those days between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. and show it to their server.
