Atascadero's Connor Allen verbally commits to San Diego for football

Former Greyhounds standout recently completed his career at Allan Hancock

Connor Allen is going to San Diego

Allan Hancock College tight end and Atascadero High graduate Connor Allen has verbally committed to the University of San Diego, Allan Hancock announced Wednesday.

Allen caught 21 passes for 352 yards and two touchdowns in his two seasons with the Bulldogs, who will hold a ceremony today at noon for Allen and his teammates continuing their football careers at four-year schools.

San Diego went 8-3 last season, including a 7-1 mark in the Pioneer Football League.
