Sierra Vista hospital's governing board gets new leader

Jill Bolster-White, executive director at Transitions Mental Health Association in San Luis Obispo, will take over as chair of the governing board at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for 2014.

Bolster-White has served on the Sierra Vista board for four years, most recently as secretary and treasurer, according to a hospital news release.

Cuesta College president Gil Stork will take Bolster-White’s previous position as secretary and treasurer, and local OB/GYN Bruce Monroy will take over as vice chair.

New board members include Mary Harris, a transactional attorney in San Luis Obispo; Simone Lagomarsino, president and chief executive officer of Heritage Oaks Bancorp, parent company to Heritage Oaks Bank; Ty Safreno, chief executive officer and chief technology officer of Trust Automation Inc. in San Luis Obispo.; and Scott Bisheff, medical director of Sierra Vista’s Emergency Department.

Continuing Governing Board members include Eric Schwefler, Kris Yetter, Otto Schueckler, Patrick Vaughan, Stephen Tidik, Tim Williams, Tom Jones and Chip Visci.

Additional members include Sierra Vista chief of staff William Sogaard, vice-chief of staff Timothy Auran and immediate past chief of staff Phillip Kissel.
