Prep Roundup: Adlesh, Royals roll to road win

Guard scores 21 points as Mission Prep cruises to 56-35 victory over Pacific Grove

The Mission Prep boys basketball team went on the road Saturday to beat Pacific Grove, 56-35.

Quinton Adlesh led the Royals in scoring with 21 points and had four 3-pointers. By halftime, Mission Prep (18-4) was ahead 31-13.

The Royals scored 21 points in the third quarter.

Immanuel girls top Mission Prep

The Immanuel High girls basketball team ran past Mission Prep, 66-50.

Noelle Laird led the Royals (12-7) in their road loss with 17 points.

Mission Prep’s Jacqueline San Jule added 13 points, and I’raya Smith had 12. 

Manuele, Eagles win water polo thriller

Isabella Manuele scored the go-ahead goal for the Arroyo Grande High girls water polo team with about two minutes left against Palos Verdes in an 8-7 victory.

The Eagles (13-5) went into the match ranked No. 9 in the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 poll, and the Sea Kings were No. 6.

Rebekah Hernandez also had two goals for Arroyo Grande, and Alana Benson had 15 saves.
