Coast Union lady booters tied by Orcutt twice, 2-2

The Lady Broncos varsity soccer squad played Orcutt Academy on the Spartans’ field Friday, Jan. 24, and at Coast Union Monday, Jan. 27, and in each match the score was the same, 2-2.

On Friday, Coast Union’s two points were both booted in by senior Cristina Plasencia, with assists from Paulina Torres and Fabby Gonzalez.

On Monday, Remy Corbet picked up the first goal on a header — thanks to a corner kick assist by Torres — and Itzel Saavedra’s header scored the second goal, again, thanks to a corner kick by Torres.

Coast Union goalie Kaelani Ribeira racked up 15 saves for the home team.
The Lady Broncos next home match is against Orcutt again at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10.
