Incentive to work

San Luis ObispoJanuary 29, 2014

Robert Harway’s article is confusing at best. He may be interested to know that Charles Krauthammer was Democratic much of his life, until he woke up. He is light years ahead of Paul Krugman, who somehow won the Nobel Prize for economics, which surprises me — as did that symbolic one given to Barack Obama for Peace (have you seen the mess he has us/world in lately, backing all the wrong people?).

You must give people an incentive to work; waiting for a monthly check is not an incentive. Bad news for Mr. Harway, Dem. President Lyndon B. Johnson’s “Great Society” has failed and cost us trillions, as has Obama’s economic nonrecovery plan. President Ronald Reagan, also a Democrat for much of his life, and head of the Screen Actors Guild, took Jimmy Carter’s upside-down economy and had the largest growth in GNP ever. And we all rose up with it. Reagan had the best quote and attitude ever: “Government is not the solution, it is the problem.”
