Cal Poly loses men's tennis opener to St. Mary's

Cal Poly lost 6-1 at St. Mary’s in its men’s tennis season debut Friday night. 

The Mustangs’ lone win came from Naveen Beasley (6-4, 6-4) in the No. 3 singles match. 

In two close singles for the Mustangs, Marco Comuzzo lost 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-5), and Matt Thomson lost 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (11-9).
