Bronco lady booters lose rematch with Morro Bay

Coast Union’s girls soccer team defeated Morro Bay High School 1-0 back on Dec. 28, but in the New Year the Pirates turned the tables on the Lady Broncos, winning 3-1 on Thursday, Jan. 9.

Cristina Plasencia got the only goal for Coast Union, nailing a penalty kick in the second half.  On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Lady Broncos entertained Nipomo and were defeated 4-1 by the Titans. The only goal for Coast Union (4-10) was booted in by the team’s top scorer, Plasencia.
