Cal Poly and Northrop Grumman will jointly announce the dedication of a new cyber lab on the university's campus later this month.

The lab, made possible by the Northrop Grumman Foundation, will offer undergraduate and graduate student instruction as part of a national cybersecurity initiative in education.

More details will be released about the new lab at an invite-only dedication ceremony to be held Jan. 23 that will include demonstrations by faculty and students.

Northrop Grumman is a global security company offering unmanned systems, as well as cyber and logistical solutions, to government and commercial customers.
