Arroyo Grande man is ranked among top 100 real estate leaders

Real estate news website Inman News named Arroyo Grande businessman Victor Lund as one of real estate’s top 100 figures for 2013.

The website annually chooses its 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders from reader nominations, and winners can be from any industry that impacts the real estate sector in a significant way.

Lund, co-founder of consulting firm WAV Group, was recognized for his work providing research, strategic planning and technology advising services to multiple listing services, technology companies, large brokerages and franchisors.

Lund founded WAV Group in 2004 with Marilyn Wilson and Michael Audet after working for four years as an associate at venture capital firm Resource Capitalist LLC. Thirty-five of his current WAV Group clients were also named to the Inman News list.

Inman News noted that WAV Group research in 2013 concluded that real estate professionals are missing business opportunities in rentals, ancillary services and capturing repeat business.

Lund, Wilson, Audet and Bruce Peterson are also the founders of RE Technology, a real estate information website that helps agents, brokers and multiple listing services assess their product options and optimally leverage the tools they are already using, according to a news release.

WAV Group employs 10 associates in its Arroyo Grande office and serves about 1,500 clients around the world.
