Chefs are cooking up special menus for the month of January, which is Restaurant Month in San Luis Obispo County.

Participating restaurants will offer new selections, with many featuring a three-course prix fixe meal for $30. The month is organized by Visit San Luis Obispo County, a nonprofit organization of more than 500 tourism industry-related businesses that promotes the county through advertising, marketing, public relations and group sales.
