Coast Union boys basketball team to host tournament

The Bronco boys varsity basketball team plays its first Coast Valley League game at 8 p.m. tonight, Dec. 19, in the Coast Union gymnasium. The next game after this week’s contest will be the day after Christmas as the team hosts the annual Coast Union Invitational.

On Thursday, Dec. 26 the Broncos take on Morro Bay in the Invitational; on Dec. 27 the Broncos play Caruthers; and on Dec. 28 Coast is scheduled to play Immanuel, as the Invitational continues.

The regular season Bronco home games are as follows: Jan. 14 – Orcutt Academy; Jan. 17 – Shandon; Jan. 31 – Maricopa; and Feb. 14 – Cuyama Valley. All regular season games start at 8 p.m.
