CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a vandalism spree earlier this month, police announced Wednesday.

The Grover Beach Police Department is looking for information about 47 vehicles and one home that were shot at and windows broken on Dec. 1 with what appears to have been pellet or BB gun, according to a news release. The crime spree involved dozens of victims in Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande and Oceano.

Police first became aware of the vandalism at about 3:43 a.m. Dec. 1 when a Grover Beach officer found a vehicle with a shattered window in the 300 block of South 13th Street. By the next day, 45 victims had reported damage to their vehicles and home.

Anyone with information regarding the vandalism is asked to contact either the Grover Beach Police Department at 473-4511 or CrimeStoppers at 543-STOP (7867).
