Good and bad news

Los OsosDecember 17, 2013

The good news is that as of Nov. 30, 365,000 people have signed up for Obamacare. Of that number, 107,000 are Californians. If sign-ups continue at the present pace, it is hoped that 1 million people will select plans by Jan. 1.

The bad news is that the Obama administration hopes to have 7 million signed up by March 31. Also, Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of Health and Human Services, revealed that the financial system needed to pay insurance companies was “in the process of being put together.” Supposedly by mid-January.

Take your pick.
