Police on lookout for good drivers

jhickey@thetribunenews.comDecember 15, 2013

Driving well may get you pulled over by the cops this month as part of the Good Driver Reward Program. But instead of a ticket, good drivers will receive a $15 gift certificate to Food-4-Less for displaying habits such as wearing seatbelts, using a child passenger restraint system and yielding the right-of-way to pedestrians.

The event is a collaboration between the San Luis Obispo Staff Officers’ Association, San Luis Obispo Police Officers’ Association and Food-4-Less Supermarket in San Luis Obispo, according to a recent news release.

The Tribune is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news.
